So much this => “WYSIWYG Editors suck because they promote thinking about style rather than content.”

It goes way beyond content editors. I see the same problem in a crowd of visual website builders and drag & drop builder plugins in WordPress realm. After all these years of pushing toward separation between style and content, semantic HTML, and proper content structure, those visual editors are leading users to believe in “style first, drop in contents later” backward approach. Their answer to my concern is “Nobody cares about the code as long as it works.” Craftsmanship and good practice all going down the drain. It’s maddening.
