I feel like this is just the beginning of a ridiculous story, where I'm repeatedly thwarted in my attempts to get on a boat. Luckily the CSS Working Group meetings are at the end of the week.
I thought that getting a ferry from Scotland to Ireland for TPAC would be fun. I had not accounted for a BIG STORM. Ferry for Sunday has already been cancelled. Tomorrow I drive towards the storm, to sit in a hotel on the Scottish coast, hoping the rebooked ferry can sail.
I'm also seeing a thing where people who have genuine patterns are using AI to enhance their example photos, thus making their real patterns look like they might be slop.
Agreed, I think if the message can get out about how this lowers the cost of entry to try out new things, that will be amazing.

I've been doing a lot of sewing too, I need to make my pantomime costume which should be fun.
My way of dealing with the current state of things is with non-tech side projects. In the last couple of months I've taken on a part in the local pantomime and have started studying for genealogy qualifications. Anyone else doing side quests as coping mechanism?
First real frost today. Bright and cold is my favourite running weather.
