Last night Drew and I went to see Kate Rusby’s gig. Neither of us had heard of her – there was an article in the local rag about the gig so we thought we’d chance it – it was well worth the chance. If you like folk music, she is someone worth keeping an eye music

This is the noise my Linux box is making as I install Apache, MySQL and PHP in order to have a play with the PHAkt server model for Dreamweaver UltraDev. whirr.. whirr… crunch crunch…

strange things happen here…

…on the way home from work yesterday I saw an old style Renault 5 embedded in a bush, with windows broken. Walking a little further towards the train station a youngish bloke was cycling towards me, he got to within a couple of feet of me and promptly fell of his bike – for no strange things happen here…

wretched errors

After a brief respite from the RPC errors, they seem to be becoming more frequent again. They either manifest as a message saying ‘The RPC Server is unavailable’ or just a blank page is displayed, on refreshing the page they go away so if you see that – hit refresh. It’s an error seen on wretched errors

another tableless wonder

Mo Morgan (dot com) goes tableless on his site’s default (blue dot) skin. Its Sunday, I’m trying to work and am thoroughly uninspired by the task at hand… ah well, the sooner I do this the sooner it will be finished and I’ll have time for more fun stuff.
