Mmmm Beer

BeerLog – marvellous. I’ve been too busy too post, working away on a secret project, well its not really secret but it isn’t finished yet.

clock watching

I’m sitting here waiting for today to end. I’m also watching a large digger, digging rather too closely for comfort just outside the office window. At least if they accidentally knock the wall down I’ll get to go home early, and I’m near a fire escape for quick a quick exit if needs be! Design clock watching

eeeevil cat!

Lap Dance – requires Flash. Via the Women Designers list.

eek!

Great excitement at the place of employment today… its only lunchtime and we have already been struck by lightening and had a visit from the Fire Brigade. Now none of the phones in the office work – except mine – marvellous… the last thing i need is to be answering the phone all day.

Wednesday

It feels like it should be Friday. I’m in that weird timespan that is waiting to leave a job. I don’t want to get involved in projects that will be ongoing after I leave, so I’m spending my time working through a list I made of outstanding small jobs… dull but more useful to the Wednesday

Useful site

Webmaster Base seems to have a whole range of useful tutorials in all aspects of web development. The Register informs us that IE6 will be launched on 15 August, I’ve been using the beta for the last few weeks and am really impressed with it, so looking forwrad to downloading the final version.

mmm … Beer …

Bad news for beer? Apparantly beer sales are declining. I shall drink my pint.. er.. pints this evening in the knowledge that I am doing my bit for the beer industry. These girlie drink drinkers just don’t know what they’re missing!

SirCam seems to be slowing down

I only received 4 random documents from the norty worm this evening. In related virus news The Register made me giggle with this line “We hate to point out that patching systems is what IT staff do, so we don’t quite see the dreadful loss of productivity here. One might as easily say that police SirCam seems to be slowing down

August already?

A shiny new month and a nice clean page to fill with random stuff. Pixelsurgeon have been sending a fair bit of traffic my way since yesterday – I like digging through my referrers, I find loads of interesting sites that way.
