I’m so jealous. Why does the UK get no decent web conferences? No Fair 🙁 The people upstairs here seem to have developed a strange and eclectic taste in music. well … that was a short month

The beginning of March heralds the fact that I have been, successfully, running my own business full time for 6 months. Which is cool. It also signifies the due date of my first essay for my Open University course which is due on Wednesday coming and is all written and ready to mail out today well … that was a short month

mummy… where’s my internet?

The small person had her first taste of life-without-internet connection this weekend. “Agh.. somethings happened to my pooter!” she yells, running into my room. An investigation revealed a ‘page cannot be displayed’ – the reason being the apparant demise of my ISDN provider. The above meant a return to pay per minute internet access for mummy… where’s my internet?

One year on …

modern “girls” can’t cook?

This article based on a survey taken by the Guides Association tells us the dreadful news that girls today don’t know how to boil an egg. I appreciate that the article is based on research done by an all-female organisation, but surely the emphasis should be that young people (regardless of gender) are not gaining modern “girls” can’t cook?

So much is going on here, hence my beginning of month silence – lots of work, my Open University course has started, I’m slowly disappearing under a mountain of paperwork that must be done while I can still see my desk… but we’re fine. I have been informed that the evil night bird is probably busy …
